Is anyone else here as bad at Essays as me, meaning you are really incompetent when it comes to essays.

I feel like I let down my teacher who is really proud of me, because she didn't like my introduction and probably will hate my essay.

Nobody is intrinsically incompetent at anything, and essay writing is no exception. As long you continue to persevere, take constructive criticism and improve yourself, you'll be fine.

I agree completely, don't think your letting anyone down. Take everything with much constructiveness as you can, so take some time and go find out why your teacher doesn't like your introduction and make sure you understand as well. Then, go and improve and write a better introduction.

It's a long process but tackle it one problem at a time, i.e. you might struggle with thesis's one week and then the next it'll be choosing the right quotes. Don't just say your bad at 'essay writing' just pinpoint your errors and tick them off one at a time and you'll find you're spending less time worrying and complaining and more time improving!
