Probably not but you should still check with your teacher. I've never seen that used before. When would there be a good time?

Change of base was what I used the first time I did that anyway. I was just asking to confirm.

I doubt it, even if you quote it, as it is not a generally used standard result.

But as you have indicated, use of change of base is sufficient for Q7.
Basically this, +1. I've never seen it listed as a result you need to know, in any textbook. Using that result would probably be regarded as a fudge / skipping a line or two of working.
