Finding "y" in a trigonometric function (1 Viewer)

Let's say y = sin(x) + cos(x) and x = 5Pi/3. When subbing in x to find y, should the calculator be in radians mode if subbing in 5Pi/3?

Theoretically speaking, you're supposed to be radians from now on unless the question asks for degrees, or gives a number with a degree sign on it.
