you need consistency throughout your analysis, so if that's crap and the links to the Q in said analysis is awkward (even though you had an excellent intro and opening + concluding sentences), you'd get a 14-15/20

well, the intro needs to establish a good impression and if that doesn't come across because you have a shit thesis, the marker will immediate think "alright, this essay isn't gonna get in the A range anymore" and even if you have dank analysis and links, it still wouldn't change the marker's opinion

you'd probably get a 16/20 if you're lucky (the body paragraphs have to be amazing tho)

Thank you for your responses. Although I understand that all aspects of the essay must show a skillful discussion, I have concluded from this discussion that an essay that answers the question with mediocre analysis will get better results than one with good analysis, but kind-of answers the question.
