For standard applicants this method gives a good indication of your chance for an interview with UNSW Med.
First, based roughly on UAC's table A9

equate your predicted ATAR to an Average Mark AvM as follows:
ATAR => AvM
99.95 => 96
99.50 => 92
99.00 => 90
98.00 => 86
97.00 => 83
96.00 => 80
Then your combined ATAR UMAT score is A+U = AvM + (UMAT Overall Score / 3)
A+U cutoff for interview offers has been around 150, could be a little higher now, so the more it is above 150 the more assured of an interview.
