For HSC Chemistry textbooks, Jacaranda and Conquering Chemistry are considered to be the most useful I think.

I use jacaranda and conquering chem but I was just wondering if there are other good textbooks as well,

Jacranda is the most detailed, but there is usually too much detail and can be a bit confusing. Conquering chem is concise but is a bit short imo, and chem in contexts doesn't always deal with syllabus dot-points in a linear fashion and goes outside the syllabus.

TBH, I suggest getting a couple really good example notes (ahmad shah's, or a couple you can buy off here), and then write your own with reference to all three textbooks. That should 100% cover all bases.

Like the above posts said.

ONLY Jacaranda and Conquering Chemistry are worthwhile mentions in regards to textbooks.

However, piethepker is correct in saying that Jacaranda can put in too much detail whereas CC does somewhat the opposite
