I have no clue how any of you are getting 87 from this or even 90, I calculated myself according to b6's last year and this is what I came up with:

If you guys need me to tell you b6's I can for 2016 for roughly the same size cohort:

Mathematics: 60 B6's
Mathematics Ext 1: 30 E4's
Economics: 41 B6's
Chinese Continuers: 100% B6's (8/8)
English Advanced: 59 B6's
Studies of Religion 2: 15 B6's

Take this into account and reestimate.

Why are you asking for an estimate if you're just chucking ur marks into a calculator

I took it into account and not every year will be the same

Your english and math marks are quite poor and no other subject makes up for it.

Im gonna stick with 87.35

atar calculators are pretty inaccurate as well

Lmao I'm going to quote this when I don't get 87.35, especially considering that rank 21 in economics last year achieved a 92, 5 in Chinese Cont. was a 93, I'm sitting in high E3 territory for Ext 1 Maths, the only things to be worried about are Maths and English. About rank 100 was an 88, so it tells you how many people are clumped together. To get an 87, would be no band 6's and mid band 5's in pretty poor scaling subjects. Other than Chinese, there's no bad scaling subjects. I just came to see how accurate people on this forum would be compared to my careers counsellor estimate of 94.85. You're telling me either my careers counsellor is extremely wrong and you're right. Also I don't think Atar calculators are wrong by 7 points, maybe 2-3 but not 7.

Just gonna say this - don't say "i'm going to get this because last year got it" because in 2015 our school got 0 band 6's in bio with the highest 89, then the next year 2016 they get 7 band 6's with a 96, 94, etc so if those 2016 kids had the mentality "we're screwed they got none last year" it wouldn't have worked.

Also if you work hard you can definitely get a higher atar but don't take atar estimates as a good estimate because it's only been half a year and people can improve/drop.
