Hey there!
Just to point out, I am not that smart. I got an atar of 89.5 and am currently studying economics at UNSW with a wam of 60.

I really want to transfer into Commerce and have noticed that the WAM cut off is at 75 and the atar acut off is at 97 for 2017. Based off my current scores, what is the probability that I do get to undertake a bachelor of commerce? What other pathways are there (could I leverage off extensive co curricular commitments and work experience)?

Thanks
Squinty

I don't think internal transfer works out that way.

I might be wrong but I heard UNSW is pretty strict on WAM cut off for the Internal transfer and given your WAM is far away from the cut off line the only option is probably improving you WAM then apply again.

But again I don't see how transferring from Economics to Commerce matters that much anyway. UNSW's Econ degree pretty much let you choose most of the majors they offered in Commerce. (You do have to do a major in Economics field though)

I graduated with Economics degree majoring in Financial economics and Finance, the combination which lots of Commerce students do as well.

I would probably worry about the WAM if I were you, it matters the most after you graduate.
