WAM:RESET OR SAME? internal transfer through uac (1 Viewer)

im currently a first year student at unsw (will be done with first year after this finals period) but i’ve just accepted an offer from uac to transfer to a different course but still within the same uni. unfortunately, none of my subjects/units from this year can be transferred into my new degree because i decided to change to a completely different degree/area of study in a diff faculty as well.

will i retain my previous wam from this year or will my wam be “reset” next year since i am not doing credit transfer?
i thought it would be the first option but i just wanted a confirmatiom?

ur wam from ur old degree will stay on the academic transcript, but for ur new degree, ur wam will be reset i am pretty sure. someone please confirm this since i am in the same situation cheers
