How do we all reckon it'll go?

Probably some sort of back titration type question I think (or like a weird ppm or sulfate content one)

Hope they dont assess the dumb memory stuff. The conceptual questions are more fun

It will either by like physics and absolutely great, or like biology and be a bit strange (didn't sit it so am only going off anecdotal evidence here). Should be OK up until funky last calculation where I predict a challenging back titration with all this confusing information that isn't needed is given.

And lol... forensic chem.. :confused2:

@JaxsenW or @bjw22 you guys got any resources/information on back titrations?

I'd just go over past HSC back titration questions again and again and again.
2016 q29
2014 q30
2011 q26

Just practice that process several times and hope for the best.

So sorry, no revolutionary tips here.

Hi everyone, I was just wondering when we have to work out the excess of a substance in a reaction apart from pH or titration questions, if any. Thanks!

Basically whenever they give you enough information to calculate the moles of two or more different substances in the equation. (Don't forget that products can be limiting reagents also)
