I was looking through the formula sheet for the new syllabus and saw a weird equation in the Mechanics section.

ẍ = -n^2(x-c)​

I haven't seen any reference to it in the syllabus documents, tried googling it but couldn't find anything, and I'm really curious about what it says / used for.
I'd like if someone could clarify what it means, I've attached the pdf so please have a look

It's an equation of acceleration for anything undergoing simple harmonic motion with center x = c. An example is a pendulum.
