This may be a silly question, but for maths i am ranked 55 out of 200 students, and on HSC ninja the average band no. of band 6s is around 60, does this mean that i will get a band 6? Because my marks have been in the 70s.

You're really on the edge. It's not guaranteed although likely you could get a band 6. However band 6's usually do vary by some amount depending on the school so I wouldn't say you will definitely but it's likely. This may be a silly question, but for maths i am ranked 55 out of 200 students, and on HSC ninja the average band no. of band 6s is around 60, does this mean that i will get a band 6? Advanced mathsis this for 4u
So say i get 68 in the HSC and the 55th highest mark in my grade was 84, would that mean my internals would be 84?The internal mark will be approximately around there but not your external. The external is just whatever you did
tysmIt is not like directly like that were a mark is assigned to a rank and it is same as the person who got that rank in the external, but yes it will be somewhere around there
