^ Try this next. You said you have learnt it.
Look hereE to the power of x =5 you have to take log base 10 of both sides then xlog10 e =log 5 then you divide log 5/log 10

That’s right cmonLook here
I can respect it. Year 8 me would have no idea how to do any of these questions. Take baby steps. You're going to struggle with calculus and trigonometry if you can barely factorise, expand, solve and rearrange equations - all of which are basic skills that are taught in algebra.Oh ye i have just started learning higher level of maths bc I’m only in Y8
Yup sure now prove this identity:That’s right cmon
Ok you just times it when adding logsYup sure now prove this identity:for a,b positive numbers.
I wasn't saying that about you in particular, it's just an example I'm using to illustrate my point.Wait bro i do know how to factorise expand and rearrange
Yup why?Ok you just times it when adding logs
Oh k but like am i good for a year 8I wasn't saying that about you in particular, it's just an example I'm using to illustrate my point.
Because it relates to the index law (for example) 6^3*6^4 then you add itYup why?
@Qeru is this rightBecause it relates to the index law (for example) 6^3*6^4 then you add it
I can't give you a qualitative answer, but you've definitely got potential to do well. Just keep at it and let the results speak for themselves.Oh k but like am i good for a year 8
So it is possible for me to do 4u MATHSI can't give you a qualitative answer, but you've definitely got potential to do well. Just keep at it and let the results speak for themselves.
So you have learnt this? Im confused. Not quite, good attempt though. Remember how to convert an expression in exponential form to a logarithm.
i.e, Recall back to this relationship: View attachment 29933
If you work hard and develop a good fundamental understanding of maths. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.So it is possible for me to do 4u MATHS
Oh yes i have lolSo you have learnt this? Im confused.
For me in particular , if so what would u recommendIf you work hard and develop a good fundamental understanding of maths. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.
Bro i will work hard. Can you just explain why you wouldnt recommend it. Also r u talking about me or are you saying this as general adviceIf you work hard and develop a good fundamental understanding of maths. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.
General advice. You’re only in Year 8 so it’s pretty impressive that you can do these types of questions. You’ve still got a while to go till Year 12 so it’s hard to make any judgement yet.Bro i will work hard. Can you just explain why you wouldnt recommend it. Ye thxGeneral advice. You’re only in Year 8 so it’s pretty impressive that you can do these types of questions. You’ve still got a while to go till Year 12 so it’s hard to make any judgement yet.
Because you need a good fundamental understanding of maths to do 4U. 4U and to a degree, even Extension 1 (induction, etc.) will absolutely shit on you if you don't know your basics.Bro i will work hard. Can you just explain why you wouldnt recommend it. Also r u talking about me or are you saying this as general advice
