and scales down to a 58Omg and max mark for English studies is 78 lmao
Can confirm it was better beforeSorry to disappoint I’m getting 30 I’ve gone worse
rip lolCan confirm it was better before
that's because my arm is twisted and I'm half asleep and I may or may not have parkinsonsCan confirm it was better before
lol no, it's to do with the decimal places of the aligned marks (from NESA)They look at your working out for questions or something I think since like 50 people get 100 for 3U
i think he means for people who got the exact same aligned mark even after decimal placeslol no, it's to do with the decimal places of the aligned marks (from NESA)

The decimal places from the aligned marks arise from the interpolation between the band cut-offs. For example if 50/70 aligns to 90/100 then a mark of 69/70 aligns to 99.5/100 and a mark of 70/70 aligns to 100/100. However, when because you only see the rounded figures you see 100/100 for both cases.
Do they look at 4u state ranks for 3u state ranks?lol no, it's to do with the decimal places of the aligned marks (from NESA)

Yeah How do you differentiate multiple people who get 70/70? (especially for something like 2 unit)lol no, it's to do with the decimal places of the aligned marks (from NESA)

Other way round I believeDo they look at 4u state ranks for 3u state ranks?
at that point, they'd have to look at working outYeah How do you differentiate multiple people who get 70/70? (especially for something like 2 unit)
Then the other two criteria applies as shown (i.e. going back to the raw exam marks and moderated marks, failing that then go to similar courses in same subject area)i think he means for people who got the exact same aligned mark even after decimal places
This is not made explicit in NESA's website, but I believe Ext1 marks are considered to differentiate students in Ext2. Not sure about the other way around.Do they look at 4u state ranks for 3u state ranks?
If you can't differentiate any further using the three criteria as quoted then they are tied. It shouldn't be surprising that there are lots of ties every year in Maths Advanced (5 students tied first in 2020 and 8 students tied first in 2019). There is no evidence on the NESA website that a review of the working out is part of that criteria.Yeah How do you differentiate multiple people who get 70/70? (especially for something like 2 unit)
Surely there would be more than 20 people who would get 100 for 2 unit maths? Then the other two criteria applies as shown (i.e. going back to the raw exam marks and moderated marks, failing that then go to similar courses in same subject area)

Most of the ones able probs take 4unit.Surely there would be more than 20 people who would get 100 for 2 unit maths?
