@wzsmartypants and @Kurrison . I have been viewing a lot of threads about this topic and you guys seem to be the ones that know a lot about entering. Do you know what the North Sydney Boys and Normonhurt test is like and is THSC a good way to practice and get in. Also how is the Sydney Grammar test and how can i prepare for that , is it more school based test or like a very wordy problem test like AMC and Olympiad. Please tell me how each of the tests are thanks. Anyone can comment on this who had transferred

grammar doesnt give scholarships y11 iirc. ur testing to have a chance of paying money to go.

Wait so you need a test to get into the school , even paying the money. I thought you just had to pay the money and you are in. Or am i wrong

you need to take a test to get into the school lol. and iirc, it's pretty hard to actually get into the school via the test for paying money.

So for this should i just get the past papers for year 9 and 10 and 11 from these particular schools and it should be good ?

any school that doesn't use hast or some other third party is probably too lazy to make a paper like that and just uses like normal test papers.

the yr 6 scholarship paper had some problem solving, nothing that was too hard iirc.

ahh ok , just to clarify sydney grammar has a test to get in . I will try out for that , but what about other private schools like Knox and Kings do you need to do an entracne exam to get in or you just need to pay and thats it
