Either jimmysmith560's answer, or that the equation is supposed to be 1 - (sin^2xcos^2x/sin^2x)

In which case you get 1 - cos^2x = sin^2x

I realised I was overthinking this question, here's what you need to do:

Bring the sin^2x up, it becomes csc^2x, we get

Expand. After expanding you will get:

Switch the first csc^2x back to its original form (turn it back to sin^2x), you will get:

The 2 sin^2x's cancel each other out, meaning you'll end up with , which is consistent with the first answer.

First time using so please bear with me.
