Hey everyone! My name is Saleha and I'm currently studying Bachelor of Medical Studies/ Doctor of Medicine at UNSW. I graduated from Baulkham Hills High School in 2019:
  • I achieved an ATAR of 99.85 in the 2019 HSC
  • I am an HSC All Rounder
  • I placed 2nd in NSW for English Extension 1 - 50/50 HSC mark with an Internal Rank of 1
  • I placed 13th in NSW for English Advanced - 98/100 HSC Mark with an Internal Rank of 1
  • I placed 6th in NSW for Legal Studies - 98/100 HSC Mark with an Internal Rank of 1
I know what HSC markers want and I know how to get results. I can show you how to do it too. More importantly, I have extensive experience providing specialised tutoring services to both junior and senior high school students and I know how to teach.

I'm currently accepting Year 12 students for English Advanced and English Extension 1. I offer the following services
(please note that all classes are run online on Zoom):
  • Specialised LESSONS
  • In-depth FEEDBACK AND MARKING for scripts
If you're interested or have any questions, kindly send an inquiry to sehgolsaleha@gmail.com.

Saleha is the most amazing tutor! Before her, I had gone to multiple English class tuitions and another private tutor but they all weren't as good as her. I wish I had her earlier! She is a very dedicated tutor who will thoroughly go through your writing and theory every lesson in an active engaging manner so that you understand and are interested. Saleha's tuition is very unique and makes you feel that English is not a difficult subject marked on bias but rather a subject that can be worked upon and eventually nearly become formulaic. In 2020, I got a 94/100 in my English HSC externals and overall I achieved an ATAR of 99.70 which would definitely have been impossible without Saleha. English is such an important subject as I know other people who neglected it for other subjects and didn't end up being an All-Rounder. Not only is Saleha the best academic English tutor, she has a lovely personality and also gives out excellent study tips. :)
Thank you so much for your help. ❤

Saleha is one of the best english tutors I've ever had! English advanced was always my weakest subject in year 11 and 12, but Saleha helped boost my skills and confidence, helping me achieve a mark of 93 for english advanced for the 2020 HSC! Her explanations are very thorough in regards to textual understanding, essay/creative writing and everytime you send in your work, she really edits your writing in depth and gives amazing feedback.
Thank you again for all your help :)

Saleha is definitely very knowledgeable and will do her best in assisting students to obtain higher marks. She knows how to secure top marks by e.g. writing essays that are based off rubric points. She will also teach students the ideal essay structure and how to answer a variety of essay questions. Not only that but for the most dreaded mod c, she makes sure students have a solid understanding of the texts (its ideas and techniques) + she provides insightful feedback on creatives/discursives/persuasives. Thank you so much Saleha for helping me attain a mark of 94 in the HSC exam!

Hey Saleha, just wondering what subjects did you take? As I have humanities and biology, wishing I didn't choose the subjects that I have because I want to get into medical school.

Saleha is an amazing, helpful and very knowledgeable English tutor!

She is always equipped with pages of teaching materials that dissects each prescribed text concisely, combined with useful scholarly articles which effectively guided me during, and after the lesson. Prior to coming to Saleha, I've always received feedback from my teachers that I need to be more concise in my essays, and creative writing (Module C) was something I needed to work on. The intensive marking feedback Saleha provides for any material you send her significantly improved my writing skills, hence helping me consistently achieve 95+ for my internal marks throughout the year, thus boosting my confidence with the subject! She is well-prepared for every lesson and engages with the student to ensure both the syllabus points and content is clearly understood.

Saleha taught me highly effective tips to master the short answer section of Paper I, structure my essays succinctly, and be proficient in writing creative pieces. I received a mark of 94/100 for my 2021 HSC English Exams and this wouldn't have been possible without her help throughout the year.
Thank you Saleha!

Saleha was absolutely a godsend in the trying times of HSC. She single-handedly pulled my marks up and allowed me to be able to achieve band 6s in BOTH eng adv and eng ext.

I was at my lowest in english before I met Saleha, and I am so grateful to have been able to find her because her teaching significantly improved me and really gave me that push to pull thru HSC exams. I was so surprised when I saw that I achieved HSC Marks of 90 in eng adv and 47 in eng ext, given how terrible my internal ranks are. Saleha is an amazing teacher, thoroughly prepared for every lesson and provides excellent feedback for essay writing. She truly knows what the markers are looking for and I sincerely recommend her to anyone who needs help with english!

I'd like to thank Saleha again for her help and support throughout the last leg of my HSC journey and if anyone is still hesitating, don't!

Saleha has been an incredible English tutor! I am so grateful to her for achieving 97 in English Advanced and 48 in Extension 1 in the 2023 HSC.

My main weakness had always been essay writing, but Saleha's in-depth teaching and essay scaffolds turned it into a systematic and enjoyable process. Her 1-1 lessons were always engaging and her personalised material for lessons made it easy for me to understand texts, especially when we covered analysis.

On top of classes, she would provide in-depth feedback for my essays and/or Module C drafts every week. This was super helpful because she would show HOW to improve (eg. cohesion, clarity, PEELs, rubric links) and provide practical suggestions instead of just identifying areas to work on. She really helped turn my weaknesses into strengths for English. I can’t recommend Saleha enough, thank you!!

I had Saleha as a tutor from around year 12 term 1 right up until the 2023 HSC. Her 1-1 lessons were structured really well and the resources she offered were very high quality. English was by far my worst subject, I didn't understand it at all but she made it a lot clearer. I went from being one of the worst english students in my grade in year 11 (~130th out of 150) to being top 50 in year 12 and her lessons were definitely key to me ending up getting a 99.35 ATAR  If you're going into year 12 would highly recommend!
