Hi guys!
For my SOR II A2, I have to write an essay and present like a speech. Does anybody have any tips on how to write it because how do I change my essay to make it a speech?

imo this depends on what type of essay and what it's about. you could maybe?? include anecdotes (personal and/or illustrative/hypothetical) but this is a big maybe because if the notification just tells you to make an essay exploring/contrasting x religion/topic then it might not work
yehh its about a person in Islam and their impact I'm pretty sure 😭 😭

get some flash cards from officeworks, and break apart your paragraphs to fit into those cards. iirc people would be either on their phones or would be trying to finish their own speeches, so the stage fright wont be so bad

speeches tend to be more informal (i say tend, check with your teacher)! anecdotes are also great, as aeonium said, even just a vaguely funny "hook" should do it
speeches have to be more engaging than essays usually - again check with your teacher!
also stage fright is a beast but you can work through it - i did a public speaking competition in front of 1000 or so people and i have pretty bad stage fright - white knuckling my palm cards usually gets me through it
