^ if so, how common? and can you give some examples?

like i mean can it be included in anything like proof or induction?

cause perms and combs arent in my ext 1 trial cause some ext 1 classes haven't learn yet and i was wondering if there is any point learning for ext 2

Perms and Combs will likely be in your 3U Hsc either way. You'll have to learn it at some point. Dont think it comes in 4U, i might be mistaken. Binomials may come up for proofs etc, i reckon.

Ps and Cs are not in Ext. 2 under the new syllabus. The only slim possibilities I can imagine are using pigeonhole principle in a proof and understanding what a factorial is.

It's gonna be a repeat of the "lets jump into the pit of distance d" projectile motion question from last year MX1 HSC
tbh that wasn't that bad tho.. it was just an easy collision question
the hard part would just be to recognise the max value of the trig thing but overall it would be easy to get atleast 3/4 marks which is good for a q14

I don't even want to think about that question again - never had I seen a question with a moving target before

tbh it was last year so I can't remember too well

damn thats so lucky tho u have so much time for everything else
Yeah I'm taking 12 units, but my timetable only has 9 units since some of math is done - plus one of my subjects is an online course (Software taken through a different school because our teacher left - woohoo) so the timetable is quite empty with frees.

Still feel like I'm dying in English adv though 😭

Literally it doesn't matter if you've seen it before - I stg everyone is like "oh no I've seen a question before now I can never do it again!" - come on, it's fine 😭
