How am I meant to visualise this (part ii)? I couldn't imagine it and then ended up giving up - not realising that you just dot product AB with r1 and then AB with r2... and then solve normally with two unknowns :/

idk how to imagine two vectors with different directions that somehow have a vector between them that is simultaneously perpendicular to them

ive been taught that just treat all 3d questions as 2d questions. u can think of it like a hologram in 3d space and u just have the 2d bit floating in there and u jsut pull it out,

BUT THE DRAWING IS 2D AND THAT DOESNT MAKE SENSE

my pea brain cant visualise 3d on a 2d page <3 maybe that's just the issue lmao

its actually quite easy to visualise in 3d using the 2d image but YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO DO THAT LITERALLY JUST DOT PRODUCT THEM AND SOLVE TWO EQUATIONS THATS IT
