Hello!

I have a question to relay from a friend. They are at rank 7 out of 74 for their biology trial, and a mark of 83/100. Is this a good result that will assist them in getting a band 6? Or is more/sustained effort required to attain it?

Depends how well your school does (and how hard the trial was), it’s hard to say without some indication of how many b6s your school gets in bio per year. Generally an 83 indicates a reasonable chance at a band 6.
