z(conjegate) = cos(theta) - isin(theta)

z + z(conjegate) = 2isin(theta)
sin(theta) = z + z(conjegate) * 1/2i

z - z(conjegate) = 2cos(theta)
cos(theta) = z - z(conjegate) *1/2

you should use the |z|^2 identity.

its 11:44 so I'm just thinking about this in my head lol (so I could be completely wrong).

I was thinking, if |z|=1, then z(conjugate)=1/z, then manipulate using that corollary (i.e specialised case for |z|^2=z(conjugate)*z)
