You just get your moderated assessment mark as your exam mark (assuming you mean for an illness/misadventure). So it kinda depends on how everyone in your cohort does in the hsc, but it is basically dependent on your internal rank
I'm applying for illness/misadventure - I'm rank 2 with an average of 90 in geo and i got 89 in the trial, would they give this u think?

it’s not about your actual internal/trials/whatever marks it’s about your ranking and the relative mark difference between you and others. like if ur super close behind first and everyone else is miles behind you, you’ll get a mark which is a tiny bit below the highest hsc exam mark in your cohort

I just dk what estimate they would give, realistically hoping for above 90 atar now
your estimate will just be what your moderated school assessment mark would’ve been, which is based on your rankings and mark differences as described above

everyone’s gotta be aiming for 99.95, or better yet, the mysterious atar of less than 30
99.95 atarMystery mark
Straight to the point, and quite boringIllusive and juicy
Requires immense study and basically no social lifeNo study at all, maintain a fresh social life
Opens up pathways for boring office jobs like medicine or lawOpens up pathways for high qualified industry-ready TAFE degrees
Friends will always ask what your atar wasFriends will never ask for your atar

Imo mystery mark is better. Idk why I even try
