Hello, I'm applying for Sydney Boys High School for entry to year 10 and needed to know whether I would stand a chance and be able to be invited to do the test. I applied last year as well but got rejected for the test. I have listed my past 2 term reports and all my extracurricular activities, so could you please roughly judge whether I will get invited to do the test? Also for the people who have done the test and succeeded what should I prepare? Also when would I know if I got invited for the test or not, last year I got mine 31st of July. yeh, last year when I applied tbh i had many Cs and Bs and maybe 2 As so I understood why i didnt even get invited for the test, but i grinded after that so hope i get in cuz they give 6+ interviews, do u know how many students apply and actually get invited to the test?

Im also trying out for syd boys the relieving principal told me the following
59 applicants
28 get offered the test
8 get interview
and theres roughly 2 to 3 spots so yeah

I either did them outside of school or I begged my science teacher and maths teacher to sign me up as an independent. As no one was doing it the school got enough funding for me to go through with it.
