Just got trial marks. Wondering how much deeper I got to dig for an atar over 99.5. I go to a top 15 school. Here are my ranks

me2: 62/120 (On average 60-70 band 6s a year)
me1: 65/170 (On average 100-110 band 6s a year)
english advanced: 30/216 (On average 30-40 band 6s a year)
eco: 1/60 (On average 15-20 band 6s a year)
mod history: 1/19 (Between 7-15 band 6s a year)

how common are atars over 99.5 at your school? you dont have to tell us specifically, but you could think abt how many ppl got that kind of an atar in the past few years and if you're on par with them. if i were to make a commment 98+ atars, even 99 is achievable for you (based on the school you go to and the strength of your cohort)

but i dont exactly know hard it will be past that 99.5 threshold bc im assuming as you get to higher and higher atars it becomes less and less common to achieve it and it becomes more and more of a feat. im not the best person to ask abt that unfortunately. maybe @jimmysmith560 can help

my 2 cents worth is that you can do it but you'll have to grind as well. even if you were first in everything i wouldn't say stop studying and chill so yeah. keep working hard! good luck
