how can one stop thinking abt something that happened?

i skipped a class w my friend on friday n got caught by the deputy she just gave us detention, wrote it up and told us to hand in our phones for a term
tbh it isnt that bad she couldve sent us home (which is what the principal wanted - thank god they ignored her) made us go after skl detention or maybe even kept our phones over the holidays

but then when i came home apparently my mum got called to come on the first day back to sign some papers so did my friends dad
the thing is my parents moved on (they were a bit disappointed at first but ive always been a 'bad' kid) like today they were talking to me and joking like nothing happened (my mum did take my phone tho but its ok i have an ipad n a mac lol)

my friend said her parents were disappointed but idk she told me to ignore it n move on n tbh idk if she also is thinking abt it like me

i cant stop thinking abt it, i have skipped before but never caught especially not by a deputy
i keep replaying how the whole thing started in my head, i keep replaying all my memories n emotions n what we couldve done to avoid it

i have my yearlies in week 3 so im trying to study from now (first day holiday) but i cant stop thinking abt the whole thing idk if its remorse that i got my friend involved or is it bc i got caught or is it bc i was flabbergasted (sorry for the 'fancy' word) when i saw the deputy

how does one move on? what can i do to stop replaying the scenario? how can i just move on in general?

i feel like its negatively affecting me n might lead me to have mental problems but as stupid as it may seem i cant have mental problems rn i have my yearlies coming up

plz guys anything can help!! also im sorry for the whole yapping thing but im rlly stuck n idk who to talk to abt it (im avoiding the topic w my parents so i dont accidentally trigger any 'anger' n i dont want to burden my friends w the whole thing n short my sister doesnt care)

thank you guys so much u guys dont know how much it means to me!

bruh u thinking too deep. ur school cant do shit after a detention lmfao. literally my whole math class yesturday dipped from school and no one even batted an eye bc it was the last day. Mind u, I'm in yr 11 and so our exams have way more weighting than some pointless ass yr 10 exam. Further note that I got 18% on an ist exam and got 0 consequences in the end in the same year. Your parents need to sign maybe a form to state that their child is the one that skipped and that it isn't within the school's right to be responsible of them after they have left the premises without their knowledge.
