Hi all here is a brief description of me:

• Scored Band 6/E4 in HSC Maths Advanced (Accelerated), Maths Extension & Extension 2
• Scored a 99.90 ATAR
• Currently studying Mathematics as a major at USyd
• Tutored 5+ kids before, in English & Maths

Here is what I am offering

• One-on-one or "bring friends" tutoring for Maths Yr8-11
• Lessons are 2 hours, online, a week, at $50/hour for 1-on-1 and $35/hour for group (negotiable)
• Detailed solutions to any student queries within 24 hours

What will the lessons be like?

• Unlike a lot of tutoring centres, the lessons will be focused on learning and questions as opposed to quizzes/tests
• Students get to submit their own questions from school or exams before classes, which will be explored in the first 20min of the class
• Heavily exam focused questions -> we will do at least 5 questions from past papers per lesson

Why am I only offering this to Yr8-11:

• I thoroughly believe Year 7s should have a fun year, exploring their cocurriculars and sports, and also adapting to their high school routine
• For year 8-9s, I will prescribe/encourage cocurricular and sport engagement still but I believe the tutoring centres for those years is quite demanding and overly expensive for the benefit they are getting (hence I have my prices set as negotiable)
• I do not offer Year 12 because I do see the benefit of going to a group tutoring centre in the final year to get used to exam conditions and competition. Of course, I am happy to offer if requested, but I am honest, and do not try to oversell my service.
