I haven't been here for over a year but I have something important to tell you all.

After I was released from my stint of slavery in which my master was NESA themselves, I was able to realise how beautiful life truly is. During my final two months, I endured several lashes and floggings as I was fucked over and over by each individual exam. Yet, each time I was beaten, bruised or battered, I always had a smile on my face because I could taste freedom. I could taste victory.

When I wrote my final line in my Physics HSC last year, I ecstatically threw my table across the room in pure jubilation. I felt like ripping my school uniform off of my skin, unlocking the shackles that kept me tied to this cursing experience. Once I left the hall of my school, I couldn't wait to sever all ties with the institution and with NESA... but then I realised I need a job. Part-time at maccas wasn't going to cut it.

So why did I even do the HSC in the first place? I had been so scared by my master NESA, that I had forgot why I even was held captive in the first place. That is when I realised, I did this for a number. I was judged by a number. Your english teachers would tell you how we are more than just names and numbers. Your history teachers would describe about the horrors of those that were stripped from their identities. Your pdhpe teachers would probably have a wank in your school bathrooms but that is besides the point.

My whole schooling life, I was told that I can be more than just a name and a number. That I could go be something great. But I was enslaved, just to get a number. An ATAR. I had forgotten what freedom had tasted like. I never even got to taste victory.

You may be wondering, p711, what has happened to you ever since you gained your freedom. You may call me an idiot, but I have been enslaved once more. UNSW.

So what is the moral of the story? There isn't. I hope NESA beats you into tomorrow. I hope you get a rude awakening. I hope your exams fuck you over and over again. I copped a 49.55 ATAR but still universities found a way to lure me. I CANNOT ESCAPE! I WILL NEVER ESCAPE!

tl;dr - good luck for exams!
