i'll try but its hard. not trying to be a victim on here but my school and the social circles and the people around me are so toxic and if you don't do extremely well in everything you are treated like crap. i have a teacher that is deadset that im about to fail their subject in y12 and its difficult having very few ppl believe in you from day 1

dont procastinate, and dont fall behind on your studies. i swear falling behind on everything was my downfall. my potential was b6 bro trust me dont procastinate.hey guys, im starting y12 in 2 days and was wondering if anyone could give advice cos im lowkey scared since everything rlly counts now. one thing im scared abt the most is ranks. i dont go to a good school (ranked in the 150-200s) and although im not necessarily bad at my content in the subjects i do (4u math, adv eng, chem, phys) the problem is that i make silly mistakes which im afraid will screw up my rank and then my hsc will be ruined. i do rlly want to do well but i feel like my exam anxiety rlly hinders me. i also have high expectations from my family who want me to beat my cousin (who got 99.3 btw

oh ours dont care abt eng, the maths ones are graded atm and in junior years science ones are graded and they decide your class for every single subject
Honestly my biggest piece of advice will be don't listen to everyone else. HSC comes down to YOUR study, doing 7 hours a day won't work for anyone and don't give in to pressure. Focus in truly understanding your work. I recommend 2 hours of study a night, 3-5 hours top in the weekend split WELL where you use your time efficiently. Put your phone aside when you study, don't touch it. I couldn't agree more. Adv topics were so boring I basically only practised ext 1 for prelims. It wasn't a good plan.
