Hello Board of Studies Users,

I just want to know a simple question:

If you do math extension 2 (4 units), are the internal assessments for math advanced used for your HSC Marks, or is it that Maths Advanced does not count to the HSC at all?

I am asking this because I have seen some sources where they say you don't do any maths advanced assessments, including internals and trials.

If someone could clear this up that has done 4U or just knows which is right, thank you!

for my school you do advanced assessments if it’s still possible for you to drop extension 2 but once I was on 10 units they had me stop doing them but internals depends on your school probably
and advanced doesnt count to your hsc if youre doing extension 2

advanced English still counts to your atar and the extensions only count for 1 unit each
