1. i worked out the total amounts that were taken out over the 15 and 10 years
2. added both together, then used that (i think it was 360,000) as the FV in 360,000=PV(1+0.02) power of 300 or whatever the periods were
3. then just algebred shit up and found the minimum PV to have at least the sum of everything taken out, (in the high 200,000s)

i copied the method from the 2020 last question which was the exact same different numbers. i did the thing for 10 years (A), then i did it for 25 years with the different amount (B) then for 15 years with that amount (C). then you do A+B-C which was some number i think in the 300,000s. this is how they did it for the 2020 question

i can’t fully explain without the question, but since you were given some of the bearings, you were able to figure out the angles for some parts of the circle. then i did something else i forget. and then, because it’s a straight line, the bearings on either side would be symmetrical so you can reflect the angles you found onto the bottom part of the straight line, and then it’s the angle + 180. i can’t remember fully but i think it was 220° or something like that?
yeah i got 220 too

bruh i got 220 but i didnt write "220T" i just did 220 degrees so would i still get the marks?
yes, in all of the hsc paper solutions i’ve seen they NEVER include the T for some reason, so they would surely give you full marks. plus, on the diagrams they don’t include the T either. i think it’s optional.

Yea you don't need it, pretty sure its cuz there's one textbook which says you have to do it while the others say the opposite
