How bad can your handwriting be to still get a band 6. if they can't read it do they just mark the bits they can read and not bother? All my responses are very hard to read and I'm scared imma get really bad marks as a result.

does anyone have tips for getting full marks in visual arts short answer? particularly 12 markers
yes. my art teacher has given us a ton of advice for it, including getting us a guest speaker for tips. first:
- work backwards from the essay
- identify during the reading time what kind of question it is. if question 3 is asking about 'audience', 'world' and 'artist', then you know it's a conceptual framework question. then, you would answer it based on the conceptual ideas of the work.
- for time management: work backwards after completing the essay: so you do question 3, then 2 then 1. that way, you're less likely to lose marks on the big questions.
- you're most likely going to get multiple plates for the question, so identify: what do these plates both broadly reveal, and how can you connect them?
- beyond just visual description 'red = anger', you need to be a lot more analytical than that. so, read the descriptions of the works -- title, size, year and medium all count for marks if you can relate it to the artist's choices
- look at marking criteria for past questions-- you'll see that a lot of the criteria are outside of the box. you don't need to hit all of them, but make sure you hit enough that the marker is aware that you're a knowledgeable and analytical student

how r u studying for bio and chem rn?
r u just doing past papers or smthg else??
for bio im just doing a ton of past papers. i made most of my notes through the year, but i'm looking at my gaps of knowledge in the syllabus and im trying to fill those areas with revision. its a lil bit stressful bc when i study one area, another slips to the back of my mind. its like a game of whack-a-mole. but yeah past papers are priority cause applying knowledge is most important of all

really? Because that's the only thing ik so far in business. I memorised every single dot point, but content-wise I'm cooked
well like go over the not so common sense stuff that they can ask (most of which are in finance) eg, make sure you actually know what a timing issue is in financial reports and why it is a limitation, id say go over the sources of finance too, especially the equity stuff, probably have a look at hedging and deriviatives too, i feel like most of the other things are quite straight forward

maybe just print out your syllabus and highlight words you don't know the meaning of and make a new summary sheet with JUST those definitions and examples, it'll stick better once you filter out the reptitive content you already know
