was the line of best fit curved or straight coz 2022 hsc Q24 a the line of best fit was curved
I think because we were told to use the line of best fit to predict a future population it would make more sense for it to be linear. That question didn’t require you to assume a future value, and the points were much more spaced apart due to it being an exponential relationship

Since everyone is saying that the paper was easier than other years, do you think 2025 ppl are cooked or not 😭

I’d say that this paper definitely makes sense with the idea that the exam contractors are hired to write two papers, and then it changes after two years, considering the difficulty of 2023 and 2024 compared to 2021 and 2022. This means that 2025 is likely to be a lot more difficult as the scaling for 2023 and 2024 will be taken into account when making the next paper.
