yeah i don't like bugs in general (especially spiders)
i could never hold a live cicada in my hand

if their feet hooks get into you well it actually does hurt (like a pin) they dont bite however cause they have a proboscis (like a butterfly!) so you cant really get hurt by them

also you learn something new every day

i agree with you especially if theyre in flight cause it can very unpredictable but the cicada was pretty chill at that moment (maybe because it got wet) this reminds me of another incident in primary where during sports they took us out to the park and i was being a silly kid and i opened my mouth for no reason (maybe i was yawning) AND THE BIGGEST MOTH EVER FLEW ONTO MY TONGUE LIKE IN MY MOUTH it was sad cause why and how on earth would that happen and i was just rinsing my mouth for a while after that i feel like there is no reasonable way to explain this situation cause i was in disbelief too but yeah it was something

literally very valid there is no real reason why you would interact with a bug unless its to get rid of it or if u mildly enjoy them (i think theyre interesting) but when i was in yr 1 someones parents were giving out silkworms to raise like as pets and it was kinda fun they exclusively eat mulberry leaves it was cool (2 me lOL im sorry for continuously exposing u to bug content)

who wouldve thought thered be so many bug things today scarabs outside my window scarabs on my porch on shoes ft more spiders x2

i feel like many things have been consuming my life lately and none of it the right kind i have been so enraptured by bugs lately tonight i handpicked many winged ants it was super easy and i think theres even a queen (the big one) this is actually insane i cannot be posting about ants out of everything they dont even look good visually but i used to watch this antscanada guy when i was in yr1 and it was so cool i feel like i need intervention this cant seriously be about ants i need an epiphany soon cause life cannot only just feel this way

there were a lot tonight because it think they were setting up to start a new colony search nuptial flight if its of any interest i kinda like the word
anyways im contemplating on what the next course of action is now that ive put so many ants in a box but i think ill most likely....dump the queen into the grass and feed the males to the baby spider that i kept from the spider bathroom birthing incident i think i need to go on a walk tomorrow
