Hey all, I recently received a offer to Bachelor of Science as a alternative to original preference of Info SyS/Comp Sci because I did not reach my required atar for it. I have enrolled classes for the foundational courses of BABS1201, MATH1041 and CHEM1011 in preparation for most of the majors in Science (but probably going into anatomy for higher marks), but I am stressing out because I did not learn chemistry in YR12 or YR11 and I only did Biology for YR11. I was planning on studying chemistry and biology now until term 1 starts but I don't know where to start from, my aim is to get a higher WAM/GPA for a transfer into Info Sys next year. SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY TIPS, PLEASE I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS 🙏

My friend did CHEM1011 last term with no chem knowledge whatsoever and ended up getting a mark in the 90s and got way higher than his peers who did do HSC chem, just lock in and you will be fine. most of CHEM1011 iirc focuses on y11 prelim chem cos of the emphasis on bonds and IMFs so just lock in for that part of the course. Not to mention there'll be tons of youtube videos to look over online about the topics

Thanks you so much! Did your friend prepare for the course and if so, how?
