I finished the first module for bio and I am nearly done with the first module for business and I just started on SAC
i see..
Business isn't my main, i really want to focus on math adv, chem and physics.
Yet I can't bring myself to do it T-T
Today I went to the NSW state library just to look around and also to study. Going there actually made me so motivated and I got a lot of work done
maybe i should do that especially cuz the state library looks aesthetic, and I'll be motivated to aesthetically study

Business and SAC isn’t my main too but I just wanted to get it done cause they are the subjects I think I can do really well in if I study. But I kinda have to start on math and English cause i need to focus on those too cause those subjects are harder to do well in

Guys is anyone here interested in joining an Engineering Workshop at UNSW for this degree --> Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Geoenergy & Geostorage)? It's a new degree that is starting next yr.

A researcher at the UNSW info day told me that I could join in on a workshop if I wished...and to ask anyone else who would be interested. I'm not sure when it would be, but he did say that if I were the only one - i would have to join another school who would be attending(and I don't wanna do that T-T). It would take place at UNSW whatever building it is, probably. I just want to give the guy an approx number (if anyone here wishes to attend that is).

This includes anyone else not in the 2026 hsc chat too! I wish to email them tomorrow as it is the last working day.

if you like this post I'm assuming you're interested.

We had this awards day like last week and all these people were called up from our grade for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in subjects.
This one girl went up and OMG she placed in EVERY SINGLE ONE of her subjects. like 1st in her electives, science, history, accel ext and adv math... and then 2nd and 3rd in the rest...like WHAT it was 11 subjects in total. She got a solo clap (normally after everyone goes up we clap yh).

I'm struck between being jealous and happy for her and her being my opp for the next two years.
wow that's impressive

question: Do you people do a lot of self-study for ur subjects nxt year and the year after? I personally haven't done much on it I just sometimes passively read but haven't really gotten to like putting in dedicated study so I don't really know my way around self studying, the syllabuses lowkey look kinda scary

I haven’t really being doing a whole lot of study. I’ve just being making some basic notes from textbooks and that’s about it

I personally am finding it hard to study for subjects I know nothing of past the basic requirement of yr 10 (chem, physics...)
So instead I'm studying for subjects I already know like math and improving on already learned skills/holes in my learning. For English im reading my text and gonna write drafts to work on during the term!

You people are productive that's vry good. I do have a certain textbook at home on stage 6 and that's abt it but it's on the old syllabus
New Senior Mathematics 2 unit course for year 11 and 12
it's this small yellowish book that covers the old 2u course. Is it advisable to study some things from here? like how much do the old and new 2u syllabuses link up?

I dont think it would be a problem for math, maybe like business or smth... Just double check it covers the content under the new syllabus
Also what subjects have you picked?
