My end goal is a career in Sales and Trading at an Investment Bank. What University Degree should I do? Im thinking Economics, Commerce or Business?

Also what University should I go to?

you can just do commerce majoring in finance, since ib is perceived hard to get, go8 would be ideal unis (so USYD or UNSW)

im trying to go into finance and im going to do bachelor of adv sci (stat) doubled with bcomm (finance) and i think it should be good enough

if u want m&a ib just do comm law, if u want sales do comm. trading especially with quant strats now u want to be able to program so cs

comm/cs will probably be sufficient as well i guess but its easier to learn commerce on ur own than stats/maths.

in any case ending up in ib in any of these roles is an uphill battle and u should have backup plans in mind

anything kinda works, i think cs would be more useful than maths in general.

oh okay, if i were to do law/comm would usyd it unsw be a better option? also are there any other combos you recommend for smo that is more on the stem side? the only interest i rlly have now for future careers is within the finance field
