how to get 100 in legal studies (1 Viewer)

hey guys, my aim is literally to get 100 in legal studies and i think it is a real possibility. I got 97% in my prelim last year, but i just need some advice to really push myself further and get the 100. what do you advice?

it's not really possible to guarantee 100 in an essay-based subject. you can basically guarantee full marks in crime mc, arguably human rights short response, but you would need to be adequately prepared for every single permutation of essay question in each of the two electives, and then also get lucky with your marker, which is far from a guarantee. it doesn't take much for an essay deserving 25/25 to be dropped down to a 23/25 because of the marker having a nitpick according to their personal preference, or recognising that it's a good essay, but some points fly over their heads or don't align with their view of what is correct on the evidence.

yeah thats what my teacher was saying too, but rlly wanna beat the odds. how to I prepare to write a killer essay that can't possibly be marked down? keep in mind that I am only in term 2, and haven't even learnt half the content yet. should I learn ahead so that I can start past papers early?

your teacher is right, there is literally no way around it and no such thing as an essay that can't be marked down. markers aren't paid enough to care to the point where all the marking is rigorously fair and academically justified.

i could go in and sit the legal studies hsc right now after 5 years of law school, almost 4 years of working in family law, while knowing the family law act inside and out, and some geriatric english teacher who has literally never seen the inside of a courtroom other than their last dui in the local court will still find a way to give me 24/25 in a family law essay.

yeah true. but just in general, what are some of your tips for what I should be doing now to prepare for the hsc, given that I have only studies human rights and half of crime so far?

how the fuck did u get 99 in the lat (im not actually asking i just got 53)
