Guys, debate time. online or offline notes???

Both! Online so they are all in one place so you can't lose anything-
but offline because of muscle memory and writing practice! Also you kinda remember more when writing compared to typing.

for me English: both. Like my final notes will be online so that I can edit them and then class stuff and practice stuff will be offline

SOR: I used to do offline and then gave up cause my teacher is useless and I just chatgpt my notes
SAC: There's no notes
DT: Barely any notes, but all are online cause I just copy and paste shit from my worksheets

I would rather write an essay than answer in chunky paragraphs that are essentially a glorified body paragraph that wanna suck the soul out of my life.

excuse me. Essays u can memorise, spend ur whole life, getting to know the text. Would u really want to analyse a text u have never seen before, and expect to be able to analyse it perfectly

also im a writer i STRIVE off of writing a lot

also having stimuli beforehand really help me analyse becausein an unseen text i spend too much time analysing and i get less actual writing time.

with short answers, at least if u flunk one u dont flunk all of them and get like a 0.
if u get a bad essay question that doesnt work with what u memorised u stress and write yap and fail. + they expect u to go more into depth about an essay since yk the text, whereas if u just understand whats going on in the short answer u get the marks

tbh it also just depends on the teacher marking. with me i get marked better for essays so i might just hate SAC's with a passion.
