um hey chat, I lowkey kinda wanna go into medicine im in year 10 and i have NO work experience for it. my careers advisor is a fatass and doesnt give any resources. I really want to know what programs i can do just in general, any competitions, any good tutoring places, what hobbies and how to build up my portfolio and stuff yk. like i have nothing for a porfolio + my marks SUCK.

why are y'all sounding so smart we in the same grade and the only goal ive set for myself is to wake up before 12 sadly i have no advice to spare evidently so, but you got this smartie pants

Ah there's @docmcstuffins and @soggybisuit64 asw but they haven't talked much yet (not that there's much studying to talk about rn)
Some more of our 2027 ppl will probably come later on cuz it's still yr 10 so most ppl won't be that serious yet to find out about BoS + mb there'll be some more talk when subject selections happen

Is that how it works? My friend at Hills Grammar says they get to do it, although theirs is limited to 4 or 5 choices the school gives

I believe so, although there probably are loopholes/exceptions to it

it was optional at my school
its mandatory for us to do work PLACEMENT but only because its mandatory to do vet subjects which require 70 hours of work placement across 2 years
