It doesn't effect your ATAR calculations at all. But if your school cohort is overall doing bad, then it makes it difficult for you to get in the top marks range since 50% of your HSC mark depends on your performance relative to the school. This can be overcome, though, by ranking first in your subjects internally and also in the HSC exam.Hi all,

Your ATAR will not change. But if you are eligible for certain equity and/or merit schemes, your selection rank may change. This is your ATAR + any adjustment factors. This final number is not publicly available information, and you will only know of your bona fide ATAR.Hi all,
