Uh so basically i found out theres more than one way to prove similarity/congruency and now idk which one to use
My proofs for congruence are AAS, SAS, and SSS. My tutor said to not use RHS, but my school does :/
My proofs for similarity are SAS, SSS and AA(equiangular). but again, my school doesn't use AA, instead AAS

anyways my main problem is that i was talking with a friend, and at his school they explicitly say to not use any of the things i said above or they get marks deducted. instead they have to write full written statements like instead of SSS it's "three pairs of matching sides are in the same ratio" and instead of AA it's "two angles of one triangle are equal to two angles of the other triangle" asdfghjkl;

ohhh I know what you mean. It really depends on your school and the way your teachers mark exams, whether writing 'SAS' is good enough or 'Side Angle Side' is needed to be written fully to get the marks. Just do whatever your teacher/school says to do. If the abbreviation is ok with them then ig don't write the full thing

wot
what even is AAS for similarity surely thats only for congruency?
