Considering nesa themselves publishes it AND it’s published on online newspapers AND physical newspaper prints I don’t think so and even if it wouldn’t make much difference cause it’s still on at least 5 other online and print sources

wouldn't you want to be proud of a band 6?

what's the need to hide it? there are many all rounders in James Ruse so it isn't even a security risk to you if that's the reason

concern, especially around privacy. Here’s how you can try to get your name hidden / removed (or request more privacy):

What NESA Says About Privacy and HSC Honour Lists

  1. Privacy Flag
  2. How to Request It
  3. Privacy / Access Officer

About HSC Ninja

  • On discussion forums, people note that HSC Ninja appears to pull data from NESA’s Distinguished Achievers List. Bored Of Studies
  • Because of that, removing your name from NESA’s list via the privacy flag may help prevent it from showing up on sites like HSC Ninja. Some on Bored of Studies suggest exactly that. Bored Of Studies
  • I couldn’t find a public, official contact email for HSC Ninja itself (for removing names), so going through NESA is likely your best bet.

What You Should Do (Practical Steps)

  1. Write an email to records@nesa.nsw.edu.au:
    • Explain that you want a privacy flag because you don’t want your name publicly listed.
    • Include your full name, student number, and attach a photo ID (driver’s license / school ID / etc).
  2. Copy / CC in privacy@nesa.nsw.edu.au if you want to formally raise a privacy concern.
  3. Keep a record of your email and any replies, in case you need to follow up.

If you like, I can check current (2025) contacts for NESA / HSC Ninja (some addresses change) — do you want me to do that for you?
