If we went to the same school that would be crazy
But seriously, please learn to write most of the kanji in Wakatta, unless it’s for a word you don’t imagine using in writing. Recognising it in reading is the baseline, but if you want to excel you have to be strong with kanji. I chose to memorise kanji based on how common it was rather than how easy. Like I recommend memorising how to write things such as 働く, because you’ll use that all the time. Also it’s the same radicals as 動く OR 動物 but with a person radical on the left, which is really intuitive if you think abt it
thatd be so cool but i dont think so because my school doesn't run extension japanese 😪
ill defo spend these holidays refining my kanji skills... like i lowkeyley dont recognise any of the kanji you just wrote LOL so i clearly have quite a long way to go

I never watched that one! I hear it’s pretty good though. Good luck, it must be hard not having a lot of past papers?

i spammed the photo + text reader + jisho.org technique for my kanji honestly...
Lowkey if you get the traditional chinese keyboard with the handwriting function, you can probably copy down most japanese characters you see irl and translate it

OKAY so I'm actually not the best person to ask for this. I was not one of those people who studied for hours on end around the HSC season. I actually was pretty lazy during most of that time, and gave myself ample rest time. I saw people studying for like 8+ hours a day, EVERY DAY. I was probably doing max 5 hours in one day at the peak.
I didn’t follow a study plan, just a to-do list which I neglected at times... I prioritised my study by what I felt like at the time + fixing weak points, which is probably how I ended up neglecting other things. But being consistent is the most important thing. I was locked in since the beginning of year 11, and didn’t procrastinate. I could get away with being sick the week before internal exams because I had already studied enough to be okay!

yeah im taking the holidays to rest and read up more for english bc i got a B on my RoSA smh. Also tutoring but like i don't pay attention at all im gna be so honest w u. A lot of people say that year 11 isn't the be all and end all so im js gna enjoy my subjects and see where that takes me. If that's an early entry offer then we ball :p
