guys whats the strat for when youve completed something? for example, im finishing module 5 biology content tomorrow and will be doing some practice questions about that, but after this, do i just... stop? when should i revisit it? how often? i dont want to come close to the trials and realise im not as confident as i thought i was in mod 5 bio because i stopped studying it after term 1 started.

i feel like once you have studied it you should keep revisiting it maybe once a week just light revision so you don't forget whatever you have studied

and also just keep doing practice questions every now and then to really ensure you know what you studied

keep track of every question you think is challenging/common (try and get enough questions so that it covers literally every syllabus dot point and everything you could get asked about).
revise them a month before when you know it'll come up in an assessment and use any mistakes you made to fill in gaps in knowledge before the assessment task. keep redoing the questions until you can get full marks in everything and ur responses becomes second nature.
btw this might change depending on the subject. i had bio in mind when i was writing this but it could vary

yep that is exactly what i was about to recommend about doing targeted practice by the dot point so that you can tick off all of them and i think that theres another thing called the traffic light method where you highlight each dot point in the syllabus in green yellow or red depending on how comfortable you are with it - if that makes sense? And then you eventually aim to get everything in the green!

im not trying to use this as an opportunity for promo but I actually built a platform that lets you do practice questions, build and print your own custom exams, and get (what I believe is the most accurate) ai marking that is targeted specifically and ONLY on those dot points (or inquiry questions, or modules) that you select. I sat my hsc last year and I built it alongside many well known and regarded tutors and teachers in the space and yeah, all of the people that have used it have found it extremely useful so far and I'm glad that it has helped with their learning. Because I was thinking that you shouldnt have to practice the entirity of a module if you are familiar with pretty much all of it but a few inquiry questions or dot points.

its called ExamLab (https://examlab.com.au). If you want to check it out, pretty much everything is free to use and I am losing money on all the people using it already hahah but to me i dont care as long as people can learn from it! When you are going through the signup, it will ask for a code if you have one (i.e, a referral code from a friend). If you enter "DAILYINTEGRAL", you can get some bonus rewards so that you can further run my pockets dry :)

I sacrificed my own hsc to built this hahaha and then I also built another maths platform during my hsc as well with one of my school friends called the daily integral which is now one of the biggest maths learning platforms in the world which still shocks me every single day that I somehow built it during my hsc.

anyways enjoy the rant and yeah have a lovely new year guys

thank you so much I really appreciate it - a LOT of time and effort and blood sweat and tears has gone into it so I hope that you are able to get a lot out of it :)
