-short answer practice, took me a while to wrap my head around it but i think im slowly getting there
-read my poems for mod A and tried to make notes

my school is assessing us on essays for each mod so i already had my common mod essay exam which was split into two parts like one was just two body paragraph and 2 weeks later we had the whole essay to an unseen question and its gonna be the same for every mod. i have the 2 paragraphs for mod a first week back and in week 3 i have the whole essay

I have common mod essay, mod a and mod c in my half yearlys in week 7. Ur exams are so early

those paragraphs are just 4% and the whole essay is 10% for each mod and what makes it worse is i have half yearly in week 2 which is 14% and smack in the middle

i think id actually pass out if i had to do that. but thats a pretty good system. do both parts of the exam count to your overall rank?

ye everything counts just the weighting differs

My school just smacks us with the whole exam at once. My half yearly is 3 essays in one exam. Which is not the worst considering the fact my prelim was 3 hrs with 4, 20 mark sections

my goal for this term is to walk into an english exam feeling prepared. bc ive genuinely never felt ready for an english exam in my life. maybe like once in yr 9 but thats it

my goal for eng is to properly learn how to adapt essays to questions. Like i feel i know how to but during the exam i can just never adapt well enough
