Hello, I messed up really bad in yr 11 chem and I really want to improve this year. I struggled a lot with Module 4 and Module 7 and tried revising them during the holidays but I was working and I was visiting family overseas so I didn't have much time to do anything, and now I'm struggling with Module 8 too since it's building up on Module 7. Any advice to help me is welcome.

step 1. quit your job. you're in high school. if ur parents don't support you with their wealth, you're better off calling child support services.

for future reference, you wont need a job during university either as will recieve youth allowance (only if you don't have a job)

step 2. don't worry too much about getting a band 5 or 6 as it scales very well anyway.

whaat why are you alr doing mod 7? unless u did it in a weird order or something..
i'd suggest prioritising the relevant prelim content first if you don't fully understand it since a lot of it is built on further in yr 12, particularly mod 1 (for mod 7), mod 2 (for mod 6) and mod 4 (for mod 5), because it's much harder to learn year 12 content without the yr 11 content it's based on.
the syllabus dot points can be helpful to gauge if you understand the year 11 content (think about whether you could explain each dotpoint to someone)

schools who deviate away from the syllabus order are so retarded. my retarded shit school apparently used to do module 7 and 8 (the most fucking boring topics) before 5 and 6 (actual physics)
it's not retarted, it's actually better bc u do the more content heavy concepts first, it gives you more time throughout the yr to review and recap rather than rushing it at the end, and the end of the yr will also feel lighter
