Guys I have a question for essays in general. Say I integrate 2 quotes per paragraph for 3 paragraphs, how many techniques do I use per quote? I've heard its one per quote otherwise the essay gets rushed and less in depth but from others I've heard that it deepens the analysis, hence getting more marks. So, is it one technique per quote or more?
I *think at least 2 is good, but only if they have a purpose and help reinforce your argument.

I think doing 3 quotes per parra is better. I usually just do 1-2 techniques per quote

3-4 quotes in each para with 1-2 techniques per quote if you can find 2 then always do 2

Also maq early entry will be pretty easy so now it's just reassuring me that even if my mental health goes down from here it won't affect my future too much hopefully

did something happen?
im to depressed to put an actual effort into studying so im just trying to reassure myself that even if I do fail all my half yearlies it will be fine. Also I've had a second thought of career options and do I really wanna do design. I wanna do something like businessy/ media, marketing stuff more tbh and design will probably make me unemployed. I mean I can always do design as a side thing and run a business

cause if I don't find any fulfilment in studying, any purpose in it, then how am I gonna find any motivation. All of my efforts will be pointless and just be liek filling empty vessels that won't do anything in my life. I don't think I've understood how depressed it's made me until it all came crashing down today and all these emotions that have accumulated over the months has finally hit me

I need something to look forward to and the things I wanna do now, I wanna make it useful for the future and actually align with what I wanna do rather than chasing for an ATAR that will be useless for what I wanna do in the future

True but you'll have to balance it. You can't just ("give up") on this basis
I mean I won't fully give up cause ive def given up numerous times but then for some reason I still started trying again but I won't be making studying my whole life. Like I wanna work more on my passion projects and planning my future endeavours

Even if that's what you really want to do don't slack off until you get accepted into early entry. I think the issues with all this grinding & cramming come with bad planning. Ofc in a time like now you'll start to rethink the worth of doing this all but you must push through it and not let these mistakes repeat themselves
yeah I won't completely slack off. But also my mental health is like deteoriating so much so like idk how to balance all this and it's making things worse. The reason why I ahve to cram was cause of my mental health and I wanted ot lock in but things are just getting so tough I physically cannot

the thing is it's just a negative cycle just repeating myself. Cause each time I get more defeated, I just become more and more unprepared. It's almost like I care less and less each time evne tho it should be the opposite. Like my school has made us do so many fo these exams that I no longer find them scary and it's jsut like another practice task basiclaly and it makes me care less and less cause I don't see the use of all fo this
