how do usyd and or unsw students get to uni the fastest way? i live on the t1 western line

For usyd an alternative is go central station and catch any bus that goes usyd theres a lot of buses

unsw - lightrail from central 20 mins, bus from central 20 mins

usyd get off at newtown station and catch a bus, i used to get off at central but i find newtown quicker

unsw train to central then light rail from chalmers street. light rail is really cooked though so allow extra time. also if it happens to spontaneously combust have a backup bus route, probably the one from museum station.

my usyd friends say its not too bad compared to how packed the bus can be so they walk from redfern

I've been to UNSW once. I used the bus (T80 or T805) to Liverpool station then I travelled via the T2/T1 line to Central before taking the Lightrail from Central Chalmers Street to UNSW High Street. I think there is also UNSW Anzac Parade station.

ive gone on the light rail quite a few times and it seemed fine. But tbh the same goes for trains, buses, etc. public transport in Sydney is just unreliable in general
