My school's really strict on chem and physics, so I'm not too sure if I can take science due to the pretty harsh entry requirements. I would really like to take physics, but it's like a 50/50 chance I get in. If I get physics, I will likely drop business studies and do that instead.
No offense but what a fucking awful school.
Why they acting like the joke of a HSC physics is a smart subject? it's literally designed for people at a standard 1 math level.
take a look at an actual Physics syllabus/exam from New Zealand
https://www.nobraintoosmall.co.nz/NCEA/phySch/phySch.htm
if the hsc subject was like New Zealand's syllabus fair enough, but gatekeeping a stupid "what is F = ma" physics subject is crazy.
The retarded HSC physics syllabus doesn't even go through basic stuff that would be covered in
every other countries' syllabus like rotational mechanics and capacitance, nor does if fucking require extension 2 levels of intellect to complete.
Isn't Penrith a selective school? Why are they gatekeeping STEM subjects, let alone an already simplified as fuck stem subject?
